The VetLink Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity, works to reduce the number of under and unemployed Veterans in the state of Arizona. We aim to ease the transition of service members into the workforce by matching the leadership, diversity and team work skills they learned while serving with industry recognized job readiness training and information technology certifications. Furthermore, we endeavour to connect Veterans with the resources, compensation, and pensions they are medically and ethically due.

Veteran Benefits Seminars are held to educate veterans and their families on specific veterans’ benefits and services. These free seminars are run by the VetLink Foundations highly trained benefits advisors and are held around the state of Arizona. Seminars are also available online. VetLink Foundations benefit advisors are experts on Veterans benefits. These seminars are held free of charge and are open to the general public.

Professional Development Program (PDP) it’s not enough for Veterans to just have technical skills. If they want to advance their career potential and compete in today’s job market, they need to stand out, be distinct and be a step ahead. We work with Veterans to translate the foundational skills, attitudes and values they learned in the military to distinguish them from other applicants in the skilled labor marketplace.

Cyber Security Training is essential to preparing Veterans for the cybersecurity workforce of tomorrow, and for keeping current cybersecurity workers up-to-date on skills and evolving threats. In conjunction with the Arizona Cyber Security Warfare Range and The Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE) we will provide cutting-edge training and certification paths for Veterans. Once a specialty only associated with government agencies and defense contractors, cyber security has now entered the mainstream. Industries such as health care, finance, manufacturing and retail all hire cyber security professionals to protect valuable information from cyber breaches. The demand for specialists in the field is high.

Information Technology Certifications & IT Training with a greater emphasis on security and the intricacies of cloud computing. These are two of the most important aspects of today’s I.T. fields, as more and more businesses are relying on cloud computing and remote workers to be competitive – and our personal data is more at risk than ever from hackers and other criminals. Working with industry partners we will focus on skillsets that will lead to meaningful employment to the Veteran.

The VetLink Foundation works with a small group of the most engaged and respected nonprofit technology partners, along with local nonprofit organizations to directly address the needs of our veteran communities, as well as respected industry partners that support our mission.
